Each and every Klee Kai that leaves my property will be tattooed whether s/he is a pup or a retiring/rescue dog. I really want to know if anything happens to these any and all of my dogs. It has been my experience that anyone owning one of these little dogs wants them to be identified as theirs no matter where they are. We have had a few Klee Kais stolen out of yards and there have been a few lost. With the tattoo, your new puppy or retiring/ rescue dog will always carry it's own identification. You will have the security of knowing s/he will never be lost even on the way to you. Also, I don't know if everyone in the dog world know this, but the testing labs are not allowed to use any dog that has been tattooed and Humane Societies are always on the look out for them. The charge for the tattoo and it's registration in Tatoo-A-Pet's national registry is $20.00. This has been a great relief for me. In the past I have had a few micro chips inserted; however, not only was I unable to locate a vendor who could sell these to me at a cost which I could afford, but I also found that there are several different chips used across the country. Apparently the different chips cannot be read by one universal reader, so in effect your chip is worthless if it was installed on the West Coast and you are on the East Coast or visa versa. I want to save all of our owners from the heartbreak of losing their pet. Tatoo-A-Pet will send a certificate, window stickers and a tag for your dog to wear so that intruders or dog thieves know your pet is tattooed and will leave it alone.

If you like you may make monthly payments until such time as the pup is delivered to you. You may also pay the balance due upon receiving your puppy except in the case of an out of state sale, then the balance must be paid for in full including shipping and handling prior to shipment. The handling charges are as follows: The cost of the Health Certificate which usually runs $20.00, the cost of the airline kennel which usually costs between $15 and $20.00 and $20.00 for the tatoo and it's registration. The airfare has been running in the $120.00 range (actual costs could be more or less) and must be paid by me at the time of the pups flight; therefore, I must have that payment in advance also. If you are uncomfortable with full payment except air fare and handling charges being paid in advance you can choose to overnight the money. Pups are delivered at the age of 9 to 10 weeks old depending on the readiness of the individual pup to travel. If for any reason payment and arrangements for the delivery of the puppy are not in the works and it has not been claimed by buyer at the age of two months old, the deposit is forfeited and the contract is void, All puppies will receive appropriate puppy shots and de-wormed. In the case of an animal that is to be shipped out of state a certificate of health will be furnished as required by law to be able to ship any animal. Also, seller will treat and care for dog as his/her own until paid in full and received by buyer. If the buyer wishes to leave the dog in the care of the breeder after the age of two months old because of transportation arrangements or for any other reason requested by buyer and agreed to by seller, then the seller will treat and care for the dog as his/her own until such time as delivery has been arranged. Any veterinary bill incurred in this interim period shall be reimbursed to the seller by the buyer at the time of delivery or shipment upon proper presentation of said receipts. Buyer will pay seller $6.00 per day for room and board until dog is paid in full or reaches six months of age and received by buyer. In no instance will dog remain with seller after it's six month birthday.

Weight guesstiments and breeding quality probabilities will be furnished to you at the time of your purchase; however, as none of us can tell what our children are going to look like, what they are going to weigh or how tall they are going to be, all we can do is to give you an educated guess and cannot guarantee that the dog you have purchased will be registered as a breeding quality animal. Of course you have the choice of having any animal neutered unless there is an accompanying Co-Ownership Contract as is decided every day by responsible owners. If you choose to do this even though the animal is a breeding quality animal then of course the dog will have to registered as a pet quality animal.

If for some unforeseen reason the dog purchased turns out to be a pet quality animal, in other words he/she does not meet the requirements as set down in the Klee Kai Standard, the purchaser agrees that he/she will have the dog in question spayed or neutered. After having done so, the breeder will refund ($50.00 after spaying or neutering) to the buyer upon receipt of proof of neutering of the animal by the owner to the breeder as long as the neutering is done prior to the age of ten months unless another time frame is agreed to by both buyer and seller in writing. In the case of an animal being sold as a pet quality animal the buyer must sign a neutering agreement at the time of purchase.

No deposits or payments will be refunded to buyer, with the exception of what is deemed to be extraordinary circumstances on the buyers part by the seller or the accidental death or dismemberment caused by an unforeseen circumstance to the dog while in the possession of the seller. In this instance, the buyer would have the option of waiting for another pup from the next available litter or a refund of his deposit. If a refund is agreed upon by breeder at the request of the purchaser but not for the lack of availability all but $25.00 will be refunded. In any event, all veterinary bills and room and board incurred while holding the dog for the buyer past the age of 9 weeks old, will be paid by buyer.

In the case of the animal being purchased for a gift the signature of the purchaser as buyer is binding upon the recipient of the animal.

Knowing that any contract can be made "null and void" if an attorney has not advised his client prior to the client's signing such contract, ownership and possession of the animal shall revert back to seller and all veterinary bills and attorneys fees incurred while enforcing this contract or collecting outstanding debts by the buyer shall be due to seller upon adjudication should this contract ever deemed to be "null and void".

It is hereby agreed that with the signing of this reservation request the seller always has the first right of resendtion for the above mentioned dog. In other words, the seller always has the first chance of taking the dog back if the buyer decides that he no longer wants the pup for any reason. We do not want any of our dogs to be turned loose to fend on their own or to end up in the Humane Society we must be afforded the opportunity to find the animal a good, loving home without time restraints.
